500+ Point Home Inspection

We leave no stone unturned. Our standard home inspection evaluates more than 500 individual items from the foundation right up to the roof. This includes the foundation, exterior, roof, electrical system, plumbing system, air conditioning, attic, interior, garage (and their individual components). At Home Check, we are committed to excellence. We inspect every house using a proven method that ensures accuracy and thoroughness every time.

Thermal (Infrared) Imaging

Thermal imaging allows us to be more thorough than other inspectors. During the home inspection, we use thermal imaging to look for defects such as water leaks, missing insulation, overheating electrical components, and more. Our home inspectors are Infrared Certified© and use advanced thermal imaging cameras to ensure reliable results.

Easy-to-Read Modern Inspection Reports

Our modern inspection reports will outline the condition of your home in an easy to read format that includes pictures and videos (if applicable) of the defects found. With the Repair Request Builder, you’ll be able to select the defects you would like to have fixed and compile them into a separate PDF which makes things clear and to the point. Experienced and Knowledgable Inspectors

Our home inspectors are experienced and knowledgable. In addition to being state licensed, our inspectors are also certified by the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors (INTERNACHI). In order to become a Home Check Home Inspector, applicants must go through rigorous training including classroom hours and apprenticeship. Each year, our home inspectors complete more than 70 hours of continuing education courses.

Unbiased Third Party

When you hire us, you can rest assured we have your best interests in mind. Our home inspectors are unbiased and professional. We are not affiliated with any person or company that could result in a conflict of interest. Being honest and impartial is fundamental to our mission.

Negotiate with Confidence

Buyers who negotiate with a home inspection report receive more money in the form of credits or repairs. A recent survey that compared the amount of money received between buyers who used a home inspection report to negotiate and buyers who omitted the home inspection found that those who used a home inspection report received an average of $12,430 while those who omitted the home inspection received an average of $1,245. This survey not only demonstrates the importance of the home inspection, but also the importance of a qualified, experienced inspector as a poor inspection can result in money being left on the table during the negotiation process.
